Bible Studies: Women of the Word

Women of the Word (WOW) combines large group prayer and worship with mid-sized teaching and small group time that inlcudes discussion, prayer, encourgement and fellowship. All Bible studies are available weekly in either the morning and evening.

Connect Groups

Connect Groups are a great opportunity to meet other women through similar interests that range from healthy living, life stage, and serving together.

 

Your Whole Life Group - Fitness and Health

Learn to eat right, live well and love God together! This plan is written by a Pastor's wife and a nutritionist and based on Jesus' words in Mark 5:34 "Your faith has made you whole." This group will help you to make gradual changes that are positive, practical and proven to become permanent.

Women on a Mission

The women of MGEFC are looking beyond the walls of church and seeking to be the hands and feet of Christ in our local community and the world! Locally we are excited to partner with Simpson Housing Services in Minneapolis. SHS provides shelter and affordable housing with support services to homeless men, women, and children. Some ways you can help are:

 

Provide an evening meal at a Simpson Emergency Shelter

Prepare and serve dinner for guests at the Women's Shelter in Minneapolis. This is an opportunity to show kindness and love to those who are facing great difficulty. Each group will have a team leader; each group is limited to five servers. Dates available:

Tuesday, December 1st  |  Friday, January 22nd  |  Friday, February 19th  |  Tuesday, March 30th  |  Monday, April 26th   |   Monday, May 24th

Prepare you portion of the meal at home and meet at the church to carpool down to the shelter. More details will be given with registration. 

Especially for Moms!

New Babies and Moms Brunch

We host a brunch three times throughout the year celebrating little ones God has brought into our church family. This is a wonderful way for moms to get to know others in the same stage of parenting. Leadership within Nursery, Children, and Women's Ministries are present to help you assimilate into our church family and answer and questions you may have.

Moms in Touch International

Moms in Touch impacts children and schools worldwide for Christ by gathering mothers to pray. The vision is that every school in the world would be covered in prayer. Groups are available for moms with children in elementary, secondary and college.
