What is a Small Group?

Small groups are a great place to grow deeper in your walk with God. Small groups will encourage and develop your time spent in the bible to learn how to live according to God’s will as well as provide service opportunities to care for others in our community. As part of a small group you will feel a sense of belonging and encouragement in your life; bringing glory to God through your relationships.

Why should I join a Small Group?

Grow in Faith: Small groups are made up of people seeking to know God more. Regardless of where each person is on their journey of faith, these groups encourage one another to take the next step in pursuit of God. Each group will study scripture and help each other apply His truths to their lives.

Connect in Community: Small groups will help you plug into the lives of others for support, challenge and encouragement. The environment will help you to cultivate deeper relationships with others in our church body and develop a sense of community at MGEFC.

Share Hope with Our World: Small groups provide an environment to discover your spiritual gifts and practice them in a smaller setting. While it looks different in every group, each small group seeks to share the hope that is within them with a world that desperately needs it.

How can I connect to a Small Group?

Registration is easy.  Simply fill out a >registration form and you will be contacted to further discuss which small group will be best for you.

How can I become a Small Group Leader?

We are excited to see that God is leading you to start a small group! This is a key ministry as you help adults find connection and grow in their faith! The first step is to schedule a meeting with our Small Groups Director to discuss our small group ministry philosophy and your leading in ministry. Simply contact Danielle Allen (contact information below) to schedule a meeting. Small group ministry will provide direction through training events and ongoing coaching. We are looking forward to see how God will work through you in this new ministry venture!
