Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing and Public Health, University of Minnesota; Completion of Faith Community Nurse Basic Preparation Course.

Vision for my ministry: To help support our congregation as they encounter life and its challenges, to be a health counselor and educator, provide spiritual support, advocate for those who need help, assist in finding community health resources as needed; and build and train volunteers to develop an even better health ministry at MGEFC.

Favorite place to pray: A warm place outside in the country, where I can hear the wind blow through the trees and no dogs barking

Favorite color: Red

Favorite movie: Pride & Prejudice, the older, six hour version…so worth watching

Favorite Book (other than the Bible): Oh, I love books! Hard to pick an absolute favorite but I will go with Ishmael or Pilgrim’s Progress. I love old literature since it focuses so much on good character.

Favorite TV show: I love documentaries and real life stories.

Favorite Beverage: A fun decaf coffee with lots of fixin’s from a coffee house, flavors change with the seasons

Favorite Person: Next to my family, it would be Jeanne Laitinen. She is refreshingly real and totally in love with God.

Hobbies: Reading, studying the Bible, horseback riding, carriage driving, and quilting (when I get time)
