Hometown: Chicago, IL
Family: My Yorkie-Maltese dog Moose
Education: B.A. from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio and M.A. in Theological Studies from Bethel Seminary
Experience: Previous to Maple Grove, I served in Children’s Ministry as the 5th & 6th grade coordinator at a Baptist Church in Roseville. As a volunteer, I started serving in the waddler nursery on Sunday mornings and in AWANA on Wednesday nights. Eventually, I became a youth leader working both with Jr. and Sr. high and started leading and teaching adult Bible studies when I moved to Minnesota.
What brought me to MGEFC: I moved to Minnesota to attend Bethel Seminary. A mutual friend introduced me to Pastor Russ and he invited me to come to church here. While studying at seminary, I got connected and involved at MGEFC as a volunteer and learned to call this church home. It was after graduation that God called me to serve as a staff member of MGEFC.
Vision for my ministry: My heart has always been drawn to help others grow in their faith so that they can become disciples who make a difference in their world … so my vision for my ministry is that regardless of what we do in adult ministries it draws adults into a deeper relationship with Jesus so that they tell others how to grow and tell others about God ... developing reproducing disciples for Christ.
