Education:  B.A. in Psychology / Christian Counseling from Northwestern College

What brought me to MGEFC:  My family and I have been attending MGEFC for 26 years. We initially attended as a newly married couple desiring to plant roots down in a church home and have never left! 

Vision for my ministry:  It is my greatest desire to come along side those who are hurting, pointing them to the only One who can bring hope and healing - the Lord Jesus Christ. It is also my desire to help others grow deeper in their love for the Lord and watch as that love overflows onto others.  

Favorite TV show:  ER, House, 24

Favorite book (other than the Bible):  Are you kidding!?!  I have to pick just one?

Favorite caffeinated beverage:  Coffee - strong! Black!

Favorite person:  My husband Roger

Favorite place to pray:  Either on my living room floor or outside as I am walking

Hobbies/interests:  Gardening - although my garden wouldn’t show it! Hiking and biking with my hubby; walking

Random fact about me:  I took 10 years of piano lessons but no one will ever hear me play but my family. My first car was a 1966 convertible mustang that my dad and I re-stored together. I have lived in about a 20 mile radius my whole life. 

What fascinates me:  People - I love how different we all are yet have so many of the same core needs and desires. 

Best advice given to me:  Don’t look for the applause of man - it is fickle and will let you down. Serve an audience of One - the Lord will never let you down.
